Louis Van Gaal - Swansea (Home) 1-2, 2014


Louis Van Gaal came in to manage Manchester United and he became the first Dutch boss to ever Coach the club. He actually had a sweet pre-season, a memorable one termed excellent.

But the expected Vibe fell flat at Old Trafford as Manchester United were beaten by Swansea it what was Van Gaal's first game of the new season.

Jose Mourinho - Bournemouth (away) 3-1, 2016


The next manager, a Portuguese manager already won the community Shield defeating Leicester city at Wembley.

Then he made a sweet positive opening of the season as he trashes Bournemouth 3-1. Players like Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic made it work excellently that day.

Juan Mata causing Panic in their defense got the opening goal, Rooney made it a double just before 30 minutes. Then finally Zlatan Ibrahimovic drilled in the 3rd goal sealing the victory for Manchester United.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer - Cardiff (away) 5-1, 2019


Ole (Manchester United tremble hero) actually took on as a temporary Coach at first but we would have this as his first game in charge as he was later made the permanent manager.

The match against Cardiff was a superb one, the first match Man United scored Five goals in a league match since Sir Alex's last fixture in charge of the club.

Jesse Lingard netted twice, Marcus Rashford with a free-kick in third-minute, Anthony Martial and Ander Herrera gave Man United a 3-1 lead, then Jesse Lingard scored a penalty and a late fifth goal.

The one [1] goal for Cardiff was scored by Victor Camarasa. Finally after Ole was made Permanent his first game was a 2-1 triumph over Watford in March 2019.
