Newcastle bought two Premier league defenders, as Manchester city and Burnley brought in strikers for more than £10 million.
Totteham bought two Juventus players for a cost which is atleast £24 million, Dele Alli was sold for £40 million and Spurs loaned out three other players.
Aubameyang left Asernal and signed for Barca on a free transfer.
Dan Jones (Head of the Sport Business Group at Deloitte) explained that,
this transfer window indicates that the Premier League clubs are recovering from the financial effect of Covid-19 placed on them. This marks the second highest spending in January transfer window.

Jones furtherly explained that other Europe top four leagues combined have spend £318 million just £2 million more than that of the Premier League and EFL combined. Transfer transaction of Premier league clubs on deadline day
Newcastle signed Dan Burn from Brighton for £13 million and Matt Target on loan.
Manchester city signed Julian Alverez from River plate for £14.1 million though he will go back on loan to the Argentine club until summer.
Burnley signed Wout Weghorst (striker) from Wolfsburg for £12 million.
Everton signed Donny van de Beek on loan and he becomes Lampard's first signing as Everton coach. While Alli becomes his first permanent signing on free transfer.
Crystal palace signed Jean-Philipe Mateta and Luke Plange for £9 million and £1 million respectively.
Brighton signed Deniz Undow from Royal Union Saint-Gilloise for £6 million but he will be loaned back to the Belgium club.
Brentford signed Christian Erickson, Denmark midfielder on free transfer.
